Abstract of the talk:

A talk about transgender experiences, to inform and educate people who might not be familiar with their realities and struggles. Also an account of the difficulties faced by such individuals in educational institutions and ways to make such institutions more inclusive and welcoming.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Anuradha Krishnan, a dentist by profession, is known for her vocal activism for the welfare of the LGBTQ+ community. She is the co-founder of Queerythm - a Kerala based safe space for queer individuals. She's also the president of the Democratic Transgender Federation, Trivandrum district, and the gender resource person at KILA( Kerala Institute of Local Administration).
